Old member, new to BMW 1200GS Adventure

Been on site for a while, own a XR650R, had a  XR650L (sold); KLE500 (sold). Was in the market for something bigger with longer legs and while looking for options, I found a 2008 1200GS Adventure with low km and excellent condition in a price range I could afford so now I own her. Spent last 4 days riding everywhere on and off road getting used to her (big jump in size from the Honda XR's). Leaving for work overseas for a few weeks so she will have to wait till I get back but will use time to get some extras for her.

Look forward to reading posts here and learning more about a bike I have wanted to own for 7 years.
