In the past MSA club license was fine but you need a release letter from Carmen@motosport.co.za to race cross border

Where can we find the regs for this race?

IIRC they did not have any bikes in the Bots 1000 last year. Are they going to allow bikes this year?

I'm sure I saw bikes and quads in last year's race - maybe it's another race in Botswana I'm thinking of - or even another year  :peepwall:

'The Mantshwabisi' - this is the one, I think, a 2-day offroad for bikes and quads

I'm sure they had bikes and quads as didn't Brian win his Dakar entry at the Botswana 1000. I did the race in 2012 and 2013 but didn't hear anything about it last year until I heard about Brian.

There was a bike race last year and it looked like a lot of fun, I had the regs and everything but it clashed with a hunting weekend. Maybe it's still somewhere on my PC, will have a look. I think the organization was separate to the car race though.

Organizers were the Gabarone Motor Club. Cannot access their website from our network, go check it out. A bit early I'd say.

The entry for bikes usually only open about a month before the race.
