Second hand or New GS 800?

Hi im not sure if its worth waiting longer to buy a new GS 800 or rather to buy a secondhand one immediatly? Any help ?

Hi Gary
My advice would be to go for a late model second hand GS. You'll more than likely pick one up with all the extras already fitted, whereas with a new bike you will have to fork out cash for any extras you want to fit. Also look at demo bikes at your dealership. Good luck with your purchase.

2013 onwards the suspension changed, I would buy a 2013 or later, it makes a bug difference if the front does not sag when the brake is pulled.

I agree, 2013 and later. I bought mine second hand - it was less than a year old at the time. Got all the accessories I would have bought already fitted and l and saved a lot of money.
