Honda CRF250L fuel range dilemma
« on: January 18, 2015, 01:07:46 pm »
I've just completed the first 1000km running-in period, and my average consumption on a light throttle is 27km/l, which theoretically should give me a range of 200 odd km. The fuel gauge is pretty useless and is not properly calibrated. On long rides this will cause a lot of frustration, therefore I need to consider fitting an aftermarket tank. Bladders are an option, however capacity is also limited. Anybody have some advice in this regard.

IMS and Acerbis do a 12 litre tank for the CRF250L

Both look relatively easy to fit. Not sure who agents is SA are but there must be somebody who imports

Im also looking into getting a 250L  :peepwall:
Pass this way once!

Goedkoopste opsie is gooi n 2liter coke bottel of twee met petrol in jou sak.
As time washes by, our footprints are all for naught
