Onthou my dat ek jou vertel as ons mekaar weer sien. Die rolspelers is 'n choppervlieënier, 'n mooi stadsvrou, 'n "misverstand" oor waterregte en baie geld ;)

Thanks for all the replies - much appreciated.

You'll be surprised about the age restriction  :lol8:

Lekker JMOL!!

Vrede.

DAY 3 Monday – 2014-12-22

Nothing serious today, as we would see the kids later today, but it rained the whole evening.

No problem, we are doing tar, but I want to visit the CEO of Google Maps in SA, ChrisL, and Amanda from whom I always order my goods as I never met them before.  I also would like to do Franschoek Pass as I read so many stories about the pass, but would it be possible in the rain I am thinking.

I toss and turn in the bed, and listen to the rain that comes down the gutter.

Early morning I am awake and see blue skies.  The “rain” all the time was a huge fountain that was in the garden!!!

I’ll let the pictures tell the story and I’ll add as we go.

Our first stop for the day.  Breakfast.  No person can do a day without a good breakfast  :deal:

While we are waiting for the food, I contacted Chris to find out where I can find him and if he is available.  he explained in such a way that no person can get lost.  When we left them, he explained again, but I didn't listen.  When I realized that we were on the wrong road, he stopped next to us and explained the road again.

Thanks Chris & Amanda - was nice meeting you.

Have you seen a sheep eating??  It's like a wheat eater on steroids.....  ;D

When I paid the bill, I added a tip for the lady who helped us.  She declined the offer, telling me that it is "house rules" - no tips.

Two highlights on the cards for today - Franschoekpass and Theewaterkloof Dam.

Chris couldn't explain the corners in the pass more accurate than what he did  :deal:

Now I can tick Villiersdorp off my list of places to visit

DAY 4 Tuesday – 2014-12-23

As said in my intro, this is not a normal RR, so please enjoy.

Little did we know what the kids planned.  When we arrived they told us that there are a few surprises for the week ahead.

For today it was Robben Island.  What an experience.  My honest opinion - go and have a look.  It was worth it.

We left home early the morning to leave on the first boat leaving the harbor.

Pa, ma en Seun  :3some:

This bird sh!t and it hit Ou Bees center between her eyes.  We laughed so much, the other people looked at us as if we were from another planet  :imaposer:
