2014 - K51 Starter button

Anybody had problems with the starter button/kill switch?
Mine sticks, must push very hard on button to start, dropped it off at BMW dealer, they said there might be a campaign.
Waiting for feedback from them.

I have the same problem with mine, feels sometimes as if it wont move, I then have to push it harder.
Let us know what the dealer says?
Surely they should change it?

They replaced my whole left cluster at 9000 km. It was also sticky and worked less and less. You have the same problem on the right side now.
It is a known issue on all the forums, and BMW replaces without questions asked.

My bike is only 4 months old with 2650 km on.
They had to replaced both sides on my K1300S as well - done 1 while in warranty and the other side under goodwill after warranty expired, only charged my labour.
Had no issues with my K1600GT.
Will keep you posted on the outcome.

They replaced my starter cluster on my 1600 GT, one would think they could sort it out when new models arrive.

Mine was replaced within the first 1000km, apparently a little spring underneath that gives hassles?
