Just got back from seeing Pete. Shame he is taking a bit of strain. Had loads of tests done today. He has fluid build up around the lungs and heart. His ankles are also swollen up quite hecticly.
The room is incredibly hot and the heat is getting to him. I got him some stuff and in true Pete style I have a list of wants which I will drop off tomorrow.
Once all the results are in a decision will be made whether he gets moved to Groote Schuur.. I will keep you guys informed.
Pete cannot communicate as his phone is dead. He has his charger but no adapter . I will sort that out tomorrow then I am sure he will pop in here to say hi.

Hey ou Grote ................ get well soon  :thumleft: That built up of water in your body is not a lekker experience. A friend of mine had it in December and he was for three days in ICU. He had to swallow lots of water pills and he lost 5 kg's in weight and it was just water. He recovered well but now he is visiting the toilet quite frequently just because of the pills he takes now.
Strongs to you .............. :thumleft:
