Yamaha WR 200-2Stroke - Anybody ?

Can anybody give me some feedback on these , 1992 to 1995.
I can get n good looking one ,runs strong and good mechanical condition.
Any problems you know of and will I get spares if needed ?
What should I pay ,10k reasonable ?
Any feedback welcome !

Lovely bikes. Last ones were made in 1995. 10k is a bit steep, but depends on the condition. Spares shouldn't be a problem from Yamaha. I had one for a year or 2. Suspension is nice and plush, but it is not a high performance machine.

I'm actually looking for a 230, only want to do casual trails riding and play around. I'm a bit worried about the kick start when its warmed up, took about 10 kicks to cold start..... ::)

2t's start much easier warm than cold, opposite than 4t's.

Looks like a lekker bike!

I had a 1998 model, did a few Winterberg enduros, unbreakable, sold it for 15K

I have a 1994 WR200 which I've had from new and busy with a complete rebuild. This is a fun bike and by the look of it, R10,000 looks like a good price to me and spares are available - its a Yamaha.
