In the end 8 of us were privileged enough to ride with the famous Grrrr.... to the ultimate in Extreme Western Cape DS Adventure destinations, also known as Cederberg Oasis.
The 9 brave riders, Grrrr...., Cocky, Carrots, Whitedelight, Monkeyboy, Garfield, Hentie (a real hentie by the way) and two of his friends set of yesterday morning in real testing weather conditions to ride via Du Toit's Kloof, Slanghoek, Ceres, R355 to Tankwa Padstal, Skitterykloof & Katbakkies to Oasis.
Not many photos were taken (I hope), but I have not laughed so much in a very long time.
This morning the group split up with Hentie and friends heading back along the shortest route, the rest of us riding via Algeria, Citrusdal, Ceres, Bains Kloof to end with lunch at Paarl de Ville.
