Hi guys,
Had an amazing weekends riding up in Entabeni Forest, close to Levubu in Limpopo
Some steep sections, but most of it is just leka flowing stuff you can pump through and just hook nicely
That forest is a special place and the smile factor just kept on increasing after each section
Nothing can beat that feeling one gets when everything just works
You can stand and work the bike for over two hours, get the front up whenever you need it, that two-stroke ring ting ting, when second has more torque than always, tires hooking up better than ever and the WP keeping everything in control.
That feeling when you just have to turn around and ride back up a crazy steep section you just came down.
Making it back to the top, removing your helmet, gulping the Camelbak, and just feeling completely amped.
Jus, that resets everything
I get that exact same feeling when riding the Karkloof trails on the mtb. Natal okes would know.
Anyway, no real point to this post, but that amped feeling a trail gives off and how absolutely amazing it makes one feel.
Feeling broken, the long drive home with sun on the horizon, the bike on the back in the rear view mirror, smiling when going through the days ride in your head and Neil Young - Heart of Gold over the speakers
That's what I call a great weekend, and it's that exact feeling that defines us, and the things that makes us tick
Leka.
Hope everyone has a great week
