Hubert's Eleven Year Round the Globe Trip
« on: February 25, 2015, 06:20:47 pm »
My brother-in-law who live in France though they are British are visiting us to escape a bit of their February weather and also see us.  A good friend of theirs is Hubert who is an old top (like them and us) who has been circling the world on a Ural sidecar rig. He travels alone but returns to his family sporadically but not infrequently.  He has a blog & website of his trip.  I give the link to the map where you can click on one of the dots marking the trip - it leads you to a set of captioned pictures describing that portion.  Click om the picture & it moves you through the chain of pictures.  I chose South Africa & got his bit coming down from namibia.  He went to Nieuwoudtville & went to the garage with all the bikes we all visit - but there is a shed somewhere where there are about 250 bikes - I had no idea.
