Thinking of replacing my KTM 950SE with 800 XCX and would appreciate some opinions on the Triumph by owners who have some km under the belt on the 800, a short test ride counts for little. My concerns are:
a) Does it handle more than dirt track ie rocky/rough inclines/declines
b) Is ground clearance sufficient for more than dirt track
c) Does the tall first gear present a problem
d) Will it handle the occasional pillion well, from a space/comfort point of view
e) How is Triumph support in SA, from a availability of spares point of view
Accept it cannot compete with 950SE off-road but circumstances have changed, your views will be appreciated
