Any ideas from fellow dogs - my 2006 BMW F650GS (80,000km) has lost all power and starting is a very touch and go affair, so far the following has been done:
- Fuel injectors cleaned
- Fuel pump tested (Working)
- Air Filter which got sucked in on a recent trip has been pulled out and replaced
- clutch not slipping, was replaced 3000km ago
The bike will max out at 100-120km/hr and scream its guts out in revs at between 6500-7000rpm, the engine has no more to give after this. Bike has the mechanic puzzled to the extent that it has become a trial and error of swopping parts between my bike and a donor bike.
Apart from it being a BMW, anybody have any ideas?
