Mileage is so subjective. Riding style, riding modes, heavy right hands, road conditions etc etc
That said the online forums and consensus seem to suggest 6-8k on the rear and more on the front. Lets see
Indeed it is.
Comments on mileage goes hand in hand with riding style, gravel/tar/pressure etc.
My Motaz rear is about 70% cooked after about 4000km.
I did trash it a bit with lots of high speed km.
My thinking was that I have to look at the price for the tyre. I still commute and these are obviously more 20/80 than 50/50 - leaned towards off road
But - they cost R2999 for the set, which aside from Tourance scrubs, is not beatable
So if I get 8000 on these somehow, its 37.5c per km
If I go get say the K60s they would have to give me 11,000kms to be equivalent.
I am more just looking forward to seeing how these do on dirt, even if that exposure is sadly limited for me. I just really hate taking a "dirt" dual purpose tyre like the Scorpion Trail or somethinig offroad. It instills no confidence and I just find it an utterly shit experience all round. At least now I'll have fun on dirt, and they handle great at speed on Tar. Just at the sacrifice of mileage.
