3x plugs in an Anakee 3 - still safe to use??

i was the unfortunate recipient of 3x punctures in my rear tyre during the past week (only done 5000km to date on the said tyre and don't even ride in the SL) and as such took it to Bavarian motorcycles this morning (superb service received from Ruben and co as usual) and they put 3x Mushroom plugs in the tyre.

Do you think it is safe to use it as is until the tyre is due to be replaced in a couple of thousand Km's or should I rather buy a new tyre?
