HELP! Almost no brakes after wash!

So I washed the Tiger this morning and found myself (yet again) floeking at all the crap stuck to the rear shock assembly. Looked around in the garage and found a large brush; dunked it in some turps and scrubed away. Problem solved.

Went to fill up, dry and heat the chain before lubing. 1st stop I almost went right over into the bushes on the other side!!

Have almost no breaks, front and rear. Front just keep coming as you pull, with very little resistance. Only kicking in almost against the throttle. Rear is very hard, but almost useless. I have to basically stand on it to have any effect.

So, what did I break?
