A few weeks back we did the Side Entry into Baviaans with a sleep over https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=169149.0 Well, not quite the whole 4x4 route, as Duks' navigation skills got us pleasantly lost.
So we missed the first part from Baviaans lodge to the plato. You can see on the pic where the panhandle splits, we went right through Nooitgedaght valley, instead of left to Baviaans lodge and the first part ofthe 4x4 route properly.
It bothered me not to have done the whole route, so yesterday we went and did it as a day ride... in on the first part of the route from Baviaans lodge and back along Nooitgedaght.
Now it had rained a lot around here the past few days and we were somewhat concerned, but WTH, a beautifull day dawned and we decided to take it as it goes.
