Hi everyone
« on: February 02, 2006, 05:16:53 pm »
Hi everyone.

I've moved across here by invitation of good ol' Sharky.

It's a pit about bark essay, but let's make this just as good, if not better.

I was instructed to intro myself as a DS fan, but I have to admit, I am just a bike fan. Give me Rossi's M1, Charley Boorman's beemer or my girfriend's R0.05 (jog 50) and I'll be a happy camper! :D

I hope you will all keep me informed via PM (or email once you get to know me) about trips you guys do. I am a photographer and love nothing more than to hit the road ant take pics of shenanigans on 2 wheels.

I will post my website (www.circuitchaser.com) into my sig, and feel free to contact me any time. In the meantime, I will keep adding galleries of racing at Killarney and whatever else I manage to attend.

Regards
Ross

I am looking forward to the Motard racing.

I'll be taking pics of main circuit, MX, Motards, half main, small circuit and if someone invites me on a rally, I'll be most willing to oblige.

Welcome dude....

I hear that some of the CPT boys are not afraid of taking pillions off-road, so join in on one of the rides and take some pics, they tend to be far more entertaining off-road than on-road...

I'm here for invitations... anyone?

I'm a great pillion... you wont even feel me there. I have had comments on how much I become part of the bike.

I also have plenty offroad experience (started on a KX250) and am strong like bull so I can help drag out of mud :D

To top it off, I am a photographer by profession, so expect some great shots of your trip...

Hey Skirtchaser  :D  :D  :D

Well, I am sure we will meet someday and then maybe we can organise that pillion ride offroad. One thing though, sometimes I cant hardly hang on myself onto the Katoom    never mind having another human being hanging onto me for dear life (the only way to hold when being a pillion and standing on the pegs)

What do you ride, when do you ride, where do you ride? If you do ride, come with us Saturday 2pm, in front of the Virgin Active in Durbanville.

DAMN! I only checked this now. I am in durbanville and could have been there! BUGGER!

Oh well, I will subscribe to this thread, and then next time I'll know via email.

*kicks self*

LITO: I am currently on 4 wheels (bakkie) as my skedonk (CD200) is in the garage with a cracked engine casing. Hence my need to go pillion.

My next bike is most likely to be a FZR400 or 600 for commute and then when I get back from overseas, I plan to get 2 track bikes. A 600 for the main circuit and a KX250 or something for the dirt. This is all the "plan", so lets see how it all plays out.

Here's a pic of my skedonk being re-done (it's going to become my pit bike once it's complete):

Well, here I am as well,

Thanks Maverick.    I made it.

Just got home a while ago, been painting the Fairy Birds kitchen and dining room after all the help she gave me with the stripping over Christmas, it was only fair I did some stuff for her too.

I hope this forum goes from strength to strength.

Cheers,

Rian (Boertjie is London)
