After having had to run-start our one 800 over the Easter trip and all shops closed for a new battery - it made me think what about bike jumper cables. Now with the 800s its a small bitch as the battery sits under a cover that has to be undone. So here is what i thought:
since we have two identical 800s i am going to make myself jumper cables that can sit under the seat of each bike with say a brad harrison plug. All you then need is a short cable that you can carry with the emergency repair box and you plug in both sides and wholla.
cable thickness can be sorted - i have done guite a few dual battery systems for my 4x4s so i am sure i have some spares lying around.
what you guys think?
