Bing carburetors: where do I find the correct valve/jet sizes and settings for my carbs?
Carb numbers are 64/32/367 and 64/32/368
There are way too many variations on the theme. Whom do I believe?
The values listed are:
Bing site: 135/2.68/45/3rd (for my specific carb numbers)
RealOEM: 145 (also 148)/2.64/45/3rd
MAXBMW: 145 (also 148)/2.64/45/3rd
Clymer: 130/2.66/45/3rd (numbers 64/32/357 and 64/32/358)
Haynes: not sure
Other sources: ????
My bike (1981 R80 G/S) is stock but currently consumes fuel like a jet engine
I am not after better performance but after better fuel consumption
