a 1981 Yamaha XT500 and "Bash" on a outride.......
« on: May 07, 2015, 10:53:41 am »
One of my friends in Somerset-East,Dougie Argyle,is an old school biker and he went with me and my "new" bike 'Bash" for my last exercise before our trip to the Baviaans for the EC-Bash.....

Dougie has a few bikes, but he took his 1981 Yamaha with 100 000km on the clock !!!!! for this trip.....

He was the first owner of this bike and he paid about R2 085....... :lol8:

We took the Bloemhof gravelroad from Somerset to Middelton and then we took the N10 and had a hot black coffee and fresh chocolate brownies at the 'Padstal' at Goldenvalley, close to Cookhouse......... :)

and then back to Somerset by tar.....I don't like tar at all... :(

I learned a lot from Dougie about bikes and looking after our town...... :thumleft:

Twe-Twe mooi pics.
Moet miskien dink daaraan om ordentlike handguards op jou bike te sit.
Ook  een of ander vorm van bashplate. Jy sal nie glo hoe sleg jou engine casings na n jaar van grondpad ry gaan lyk nie.
As time washes by, our footprints are all for naught

Hoekom lyk die man vir my so bekend, was hy nie in Iraq of Afgh iewers tussen 2005 en 2010 nie?

Daai XT bring heimwee, pragtig en nogal eerste eienaar!
Hy kan nie daai fiets ooit verkoop nie - dit raak deel van mens (weet hy sal ook nie)
