Hi Dogs,
I'm busy, or should say trying to buy a bike that was imported in 2012, SARS import duties etc paid.
However the bike was never registered in SA on the sellers name. Now in the meanwhile the seller had to go back to the UK for a 12 month contract, then it was extended for another, so much that he is still in the UK and just been given another 12month extension on the contract. So he decided to sell the bike to me and only me :biggrin:
No it's not a scam, I've been to his brother's place seen the bike etc. everything is legit :deal:
I would like to find out if there could be a expiry date for the import taxes that was paid, as I do no wish to pay the bike just to pay SARS a further amount.
Phoned SARS, to be greeted wif - eish, hau and I'm not so sure answers...
