I am sleeping in Marsabit North Kenya tonight +/_ 245km from Ethiopia border, had some good riding today and spectacular scenery and lots of phodies, will report again from Ethiopia if I have wi fi

Ethiopia is stunning. Addis is a bit of a nightmare, but try get to the Danakil. Its VERY hot there, but the scenery is a "once in a lifetime" experience.
Young enough to know I can, old enough to know I shouldn't, stupid enough to do it anyway.

I am in Addis Abeba at the moment with a huge tyre problem as DHL did not send it here as promise and my tyres are finished. Might have to drive 1500km on tyres that I would have thrown away by now. Will report again when Wi Fi is available. Met some good people in the mean time. Full report to follow.

hey Schalk,ons is bly jy is veilig......ek beplan n groooot WD visbraai vir 26 Desember in Reebok,jy en jou familie is mos Tergniet oor die Kersseisoen  :thumleft:  en my bure het vir Adam Tas om vir ons op te tree op die strand of op die grasperk.......wat dink jy ?....... :)
ek sal dit pos na die Nasionale Bash..!!

Riding to Lalibela tomorrow will take me 2 days. That is where they chopped a whole church out of rock.
No Wi Fi yet. DHL never send my tyres. Having new tyres send again from SA to Khartoum in Sudan. Will have to travel an extra 2000km on old tyres. Will report again with photos when I have wi fi
