Due to family commitments I could only leave George on Saturday and did my first solo dirt road ride to the bash.  Loved it !  :ricky:

I was a bit disappointed to see so little water in the kloof and jeez that road is bumpy now !
( anyone see a lost numberplate on the way out ?   :peepwall:)

As always great catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones.

Thank you Jupiter and all involved !    :thumleft:

Ek het vanaand 7 uur in Durbanville stilgehou.
Dis sommer niks om in een dag EC bash toe te ry en in een dag weer terug

My eerste EC bash. Ek probeer al jare lank kom.

Ek sal deur die week fotos opsit.

Dankie vir goeie vriende. Dit was 'n lekker bash  :thumleft

Was dit jy wat langs my in Oudtshoorn by die robot gestop het met 'n silver 1200, CY registrasie nr.? Ek was op 'n wit 800 GS, op pad Gamkaskloof toe.
As dit jy was, aangename kennis!

Was ek ja
Maar my GS lyk net silwer van stof en vinnig ry
Hy is swart as mens hom was.

Awesome, Awesome weekend.! Wonderful people, when I think back on the weekend I scare myself thinking I did it with no previous bike experience, I got a crash course from Martin(I Think that was his name) on the  Mnt. Pass on how to pull away form a hill stop! on the steepest section after I stalled my bike and dropped it, He came along a few minutes after I dropped it, and helped me pick up my bike.  Needless to say my ego was bruised but he was a true gentleman and tried to make me feel better,  Thx Martin . I was so wired from all the adrenalin I'm Exhausted today.  Will definitely do it again but first practice my hill stops. Thanks to all the organisers, every one made us feel welcome, and part of the crowd even though we were only riding small bikes !
Thx :ricky:

Jupiter, thanks for organising yet another great bash. The hosts, venue and catering were first class and the riding best in the world!!!
Throttle Jockey and I took the Rear Entry out, after the side entry it was a bit disappointing as it was like a gravel highway and all over in about twenty minutes and I didn't get to see TJ fall off his bike once(except at the campsite >:D ), before we knew it we were cruising down the gravel towards Willowmore to go look at some future riding places then off to Steytlerville for lunch  .
Sorry didn't take any photos I could barely see my front mud guard through the mist.
