Not sure if this is bragging, but I can't hold back on my excitement....Just bought / ordered a new 2017 Honda CRF 1000L DCT Rally Red....

Delivering next week some time...Opted for Rockfox crash bars, 12V and Centre stand....

Cant wait...... :laughing4: :) :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: :big grin:

I did an fairly heavy trip in March and the clutch started becoming "heavy", very.
Thought it was just the lever as it started rattling big time towards the end of the trip so I just adjusted the cable tension and rattle gone.
since then I have removed lever, lubed the cable, checked routing, even greased the bolt.

was a bit better after 24k service & new oil. The guys claim actual clutch is 100%.

Any suggestions to get it back to "easier"?? (Buddy of mine just got an @ and clutch grafts with one finger).
Reason for asking, the price attached to opening the clutch is killer!!

Hi Guys

Just a quick, maybe uninformed question. Became the happy owner of a Twin in December. Use to have an 800GS and during the past 2 years a R9T (don't ask). My question / problem with the Twin is its rough and uneven idling. Is it a parallel twin thing? Phoned the dealer and spoke to the big chief mechanic. According to him you can't adjust the idling, it is self-adjusting. This also causes creeping along at very low speed a bit uncomfortable and jerky. Must I just get used to it and twist the throttle a bit more?

Yes - it is rougher than the 800 at idling - but much smoother everywhere else... 270 degree firing order ...
It should also be able to "creep" as you describe it better and thus slower than the 800 - cause it has more torque available at idle, even if it may "feel jerky" ...
