Education is not important if you are cleverer than others :)

I'm not saying kill stupid people, I'm saying, remove the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

At NAMPO I indicated to the Honda guys exhibiting I want one. Just been to agents for something else and confirmed my name is on the list. So, yes, I'm in. Now I must find the money because my name has been removed from that list  :dousing:

Yeah it blows my mind that they would limit colour selection based on spec.

I foresee Africa Twin fairing swap meets.

the other colours are ok - hmmm a bit clown like and flashy for me , going to go to Knysna Honda today with my deposit money and see what they say , farking hell - buying a bike that I havnt even seen yet is kinda weird . Oh well you only live once .
Maybe there is someone out there who has ordered a standard bike but wants it too be the flash colour scheme  .........

Based on the marketing hype, this bike looks every bit what it promises to be. Based on the prices quoted for the available features, the Triumph XCx looks to be a very cost-effective option / alternative (if you are not interested in the DCT option).

As much as I like Honda there is just no way when I look at these prices.......R155K and not ABS and TC?
Expect the XCX, KTM 1050 and GS800 to take rightfully some potential customers away with better specification at R140K
Real pity.....but yes, the red and white sure looks stunning.
For the guys who can afford this and are putting names and deposits down, well done, I am sure you will not be dissapointed.

Maybe this is because of the R/USD, and who knows....the rest of the manufacturers might soon lift their prices as well.....only time will tell
Just hard to get my head around this - you can get a S10SE for example with some extras thrown in at the equivalent price of the top model here

Anyway, although I am priced out as a potential customer you will forgive me for drooling over your new purchases when they finally hit the floor in SA!

Spot on

It's gone soft. It looks all hardcore in the poser videos... But I assure you it won't be. It's not a rallye type bike or 990 replacement.

Travel bike sure, but there are better bikes for the money... With a better dealer network.
