I'm in for the single bunk.

Please visit the WD shop to stock up on the merchandise for the media..... ;D

Would love to take the family - but then it means no bike...  If someone is also thinking about this - my 4x4 is available, or maybe the famlies can drive together?

Me and the cow want to go as well. We haven't been on a ride together in a very long time.
Don't look back, that's not where you're going.

Thanx Perd, but I don't wanna bunk with you ;D

Latest figure as for today is R11823 - last payment from Gryshond (R500) on 3/5/08.

Guys this money was paid into my personal account, so I don't want to post the statement here ;D  What I shall do is to take the statement with (or sommer before) so that Red can audit the payments and veridate the accuracy - is that ok?

BIG THANX TO OPERATOR who started this innitiative.  Its sometimes just take some guts and will to make a difference - Great work Dewald thanx a million.  He really deserves the praise.!!

Kilroy, between the one thing and the other I never paid over mine.  Shall I add the rest to make it a round R12,000.00?

I will phone Dick now again.  I think the lodge might be a bit small, or we must split up.  Will come back later.

I'll also take a single bunk if it's still available.

The lodge have 7 double rooms and he's got no problem with people camping on the lawn "if they are brave enough for the Bushveld" to quote him verbatim.  All bedrooms have double beds apart from one which has 2 single beds.

I'll camp on the lawn. Ek's nie bang vir die bosveld nie. ;D

It means there ain't no one to look after the kitties...the small kitties so that I can look at the big kitties and dogs  :D :D

Oh crap....I never thought of your cats..... :-[ :-[
Ok, so you also need to makadaplan too.....All is not lost..... ;D

EV, you managed to makadaplan for the small kitties?

Adventurer, you have anything in mind to makadaplan for EV?

I do not think that dying is a good idea.
Living doing something that you love is a good idea.
Living until you die is a good idea. If living happens to kill you it means you made a mistake, but we are human, and humans make mistakes, so go for it, enjoy it, live until you die, rather than not living for your whole life.

It may may may be possible for me to get away for a night, but only one.....I'm trying to liaise with Mark and I do have a friend who is willing to stay, so it could be good.

What happens if I don't want to go home though afterwards?  I've never been away from them and a night of freedom might just tip me into never going back *giggle*

EV, you need to makadaplan, so we can makadaplan this side.
If you can only get away for one night it will be tight, but you will need to be on the very first flight up from CT, Peaches can fetch you from the airport en route to Tzaneen, but that is at least a 4 hour drive by car, so a late lunch at the venue will be needed.
Ideally you need to be here on Friday night, but if you can't swing it that's fine, we'll sort something out.
Please let us know asap if you can make it, it would be really cool if you are there as well.

Kurt we must chat.  maybe throw the families in one car?  Alternatively go with my 4x4?  Red plse tentatively book a double for me?  Thinking of going with the family, even if it means the 4x4.  Can trailer a lot of stuff (not bike though  ;D)  How far is it - can we leave on Friday?

I'll just do the camping thing. Ek's nie bang nie.  ;D

KilRoy, it will be very helpful if I can chuck my tent(big five man size) and a mattress on you trailer perhaps.
Some none-snoring type person(male  ;) ) can share the tent with me but only the tent.  ;D

Of course you can.

I am busy finalising the accomodation.  Will post details later.

Who is volunteering with a dirt route back?  I think we might be pressed for time on the way there.

It's quite a stretch Kilroy. From Petroport outside Pta to Leydsdorp is 390km (tar all the way).

I'd suggest the N1 to Polokwane and then some dirt in the Magoebaskloof area to Leydsdorp.  ;)

:) - Soft butt, our fearsome leader?

I have spoken to the lady at the lodge this morning.  The cost will be R200.00 p.p.  I will pay the deposit of a whole R280 just now.

I have the contact details of the game farm.  The accomodation there are a 10 sleeper and a 12 sleeper chlaet type set-up.  I am waiting for their call to hear if they still might have some space available for the 24th.

Please confirm that I have the booking correct so far:
Adventurer & Peaches (Double room)
Aquatic & the Ms. (Double room)
Ryperd & Jockey (Double room)
Stephan & Red (Double room)
Kilroy (Maybe single bed in double room - might bring family)
Zerc (Single bed in double room)
Splash (??)
Panne (Camp on the lawn)
Lourens.dL (Camp on the lawn)

The following guys may join us:
Gryshond, Beemer Man, Shark_za.

Did I miss something?
