Sometimes you don't need a plan, just balls :)
I'd rather ... be riding my motorcycle and thinking about God than sitting ... in Church and thinking about my motorcycle.

So if I don't ride as GS or have aluminium panniers I can't be a adventure rider? Because for 2 of those points it is a must.

I'm not saying kill stupid people, I'm saying, remove the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

You have epoxied a sump back together in the mountains and seriously considered using cooking oil to get you out of there, only to find they had that hi-tech SAE 40 monograde at the spazza shop  8)

You do not care what you are called by other wannabee "expert" adventure bikers, you ride your bike, whatever make or model, where you want to, standing or sitting, locking the rear wheel or not, for the pure enjoyment it brings you

@SkalkL

This post was actually written by ME. With a fair amount of pics and an intro as well on our WEBSITE, which is COPYRIGHTED CONTENT!
http://www.greatamericantrek.com/makes-adventure-biker/

I would really appreciate it if you would link back to my article and credit me when you post this instead of just posting it and claiming it as your own work. Show a little more respect to other riders, especially when this article serves as income to raise money for charity.
I expect more from a Wild Dog than this blatant plagiarism of someone else's work.

Give credit where its due

Thanks Rob, have a look at the original article to see how it was meant to be put together with all the pictures, the intro and the CREDITS to all the people who actually participated in putting it together, with LINKS to their sites, it adds a lot to the post.

Not just this copy-pasted rubbish.

Thanks for the support bud!  :thumleft:
