We didn't have photoshop back when I started biking we were real and didn't have nothing to prove just ride with our mates

Oliphants river near Penge as the crow flies south of Tzaneen

We used to ride that area a lot back in the day most of the time you could cross the river but this time it was hectic so we gave this option a go just two of us the others in our group pushed bikes across further down river

Just by the way it was the way the locals used to cross when the river filled..see the wooden box car.we just hitched a ride much to thier amusement

..........you have thrown the touratech catalogue at the new GS; done 17 courses and bought boutique riding kit from yer locl dealer......... how the hell else could you go on any adventure.......... :imaposer:  ??? :biggrin:

PS. Replace GS with yer favourite brand of mc if not applicable.. ;)

You can see he is sommer holding the bike while sitting in the cable car. Not much effort shown on his face.

No we trailered from Pretoria to Penge then spent the weekend riding the trails and camping in the Orrie Baragwanath  reserve

Hey Mother, guard against overreacting, I am sure you did actually cross that river.

Look again at the first photo you posted, and then at the full picture. The cropped one does make it look like the cable is running along the river.
