Had my TE up to 167km/h on the GPS, Leo Vince pipe being the only mod

I rode that bike about a year ago. That's when I decided that I must have one. Kykdaar that bike is flippen fast.
Who needs a road anyway?

Fixed  :pot: Strongs hope you get back on two wheels soon ! Must say I miss my light and nimble TE, back on Japanese iron and damn they are heavy !

So what to do on a weekend with a bum ankle? That is obvious - disassemble the Husky and fix something off course.

The exhaust has been bothering me for a long time. Below the dirt the exhaust was painted black - that has deteriorated over time with bare spots of metal all along the pipe. Although mostly covered by shields it looked k@rk.

So with plenty of time the process began. Took off everything except the front header and got stuck in with a combination of a copper wiring brush,  fine water sandpaper and steel wool.

Once all the paint was off and the imperfections progressively sanded down, it was time to get down to some serious polishing.

Used a combination of drill mounted polishing pad and polishing compounds, dremel polishing and free hand polishing with Autosol.

Very happy with the way it came out.

That exhaust looks brand new, just shows you what a bit of effort can achieve. Nicely done.
