These are bottom and top support bars which fits onto the existing crashbars on the LCA (eg bottom helps protect the cylinder-head covers)

Good morning Chris,

How much are the "bottom" support bars - I was shocked when I saw Touratech ask R2700 for their equivalent but it's an NB accessory!

This is NOT a for sale section
So it is my opinion that bars suporting more bars is a shit idea, it is a dedicated LC   Section

Those crashbar supports are essential, if I had it on during my accident I would have ridden the bike from the scene, not waited for a trailer, not even mentioning the price of cylinder head (R13 000)

😳😳😳 cylinderhead 13K? Really?
I thought they were closer to 3 K, unless your adv heads are different to my GS LC

If  I recall correctly the complete cylinder on the one side had to be replaced. But I must add , he put that LC down very hard .... On tar. !!

It was as a result of Niel's Chrash that I put those additional bars ( bottom) when I bought my LC.

That would make more sense if it was the entire cylinder

What you are showing is the tapper cover, not the taper cover, the cylinder head.

I think it is logical that the tappet cover was damaged as well, but the cost is not as high as the cylinder head, the point being that the bar would have prevent it
