Negative only the head,  R15 808. Some cents
Here I was just reading what you wrote so the cost of the damage includes more thand just the head?

I am considering additional lighting on my bike. This appears to a good idea.

You are missing the point ,,,,, if Niel had the bottom support bars .... He would have been able to ride home. The damage to the head ( and not the rest of the bike !!!) would have been prevented. It was the damage to the head that ended his trip.
These 1200's is quite resistant to chrasing ..... Except for the damage to the head , that bike was capable of being ridden , notwithstanding R135k  damage.

To finish your trip is a major consideration when choosing accessories .

At the price these machines are selling for I would surely spend more on protecting my ride The clever design team don t always THINK Some bikes do not only tip over but crash and SLIDE Believe me it happens in an eye wink Had such an experience 10 weeks ago Not yet fully recovered Damage to the bike minimal Replaced left hand guard and the rest reset and touched up
I agree that it is an imposing frontal frontal view of the Gun Ship with all the piping and lazers

Do the upper support bars come with spots? I guess they dont but they come with spot mounting points?

Yes they do come with brackets. :thumleft:
