Excellent!

You know how long I've been writing in asking for his seat. Maybe now they will listen!
I wonder where that gravel road goes? And that, has usually made all the difference. (Apologies to Mr Frost)

Perfect timing - as always!

He's retiring at the peak of his career, with his dominance still intact.

Wish him well in the next phase of his life.  :thumleft:

Saluting a master :thumleft:

Although I always liked Cyril more, especially after the tyre debacle a couple of years ago, I always admired and rated him as one of the true great warriors of the Dakar.

It would be nice to see another brand at top spot for a change, not that I'm not KTM fan but I would love for some of the other brands a chance to shine.. I do reckon it may be Honda's turn to shine next Dakar.
BMW 1150 GSA - 2004
KTM 690R - 2014
KTM 300 X-CW - 2012
KTM 530 EXC Rally - 2011 SOLD, KTM 690R - 2009 SOLD, BMW 1200GS 2009 SOLD

I reckon they would have shined this last time, if not for the salt.

You got that right, those guys pushed each other to the limits. Would love to be a fly on the wall when they meet for a drink!
