I miss mine daily as well.
Would love to find another SR42B but they are truly unicorn poo.

Hey G-Man how's it going bud ?

Hey lekker man. So which one was the SR42B ?

Irony is I have a DR750 registered in my name and partly belonging to me, standing in some girl's garage that the late hje fixed up.

SR42B was the first year of the 800 but the last year of the old body style with the 29 litre tank(s).
Only made for 1 year.

I have never seen another in the metal. Ever.

Mine was the yellow one in the title graphic on the link above, standing next to DR-BIG750's white one

1990 yes
Twin exhausts, no.

It did have a disc brake on the rear though.

Enjoy it !

I have been toying with the idea of buying that red one on Gomboom.
Honestly though, I don't think I have the patience any more.

The one in Jeffreys. Also been looking at it but kilo's put me off. I don't want a lot of work, just ride and this 800 seems ok by all accounts.

had a few niggles but sorted it out with the help of IanF. Runs sweetly now. One day, if I keep it long enough I'd like to strip it down and redo the paintjob. For now its just ride and have fun.

Great stuff.
And, when that day comes ......maybe a Paris Dakar replica paintjob in Suzuki Champion Yellow a la Gaston Rahier.
nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

With the frame being blue already, and in good nick, I'll stick with yellow and blue.
