Fitted a 45 rear sprocket (-3) and must say the bike pulls nice and smooth, cruises nicely at 4500revs and still nippy enough in traffic, without feeling like its laboring.

I put Wilbers progressive front springs in my DR650 and didn't like them that much. It was too harsh and felt like a motocross bike up front. My 690 is a lot more plush than the DR was! So I would consider a linear spring with the proper spring rate if available. Just my 2c worth
Evening GuysI need to get parts for my carbs. Needle and seats as well as O rings. I have a flooding problem. Any suggestions as to where I can go. Last time I checked agents could get parts but we're very expensive
