Getting your wheel back from a well known store after fitting of a new tire and balancing be Aware!! The sprocket gets removed for balancing right. When you receive the wheel back the sprocket is once again fitted – and you just put the wheel back – easy as Pie!
There is however a little problem. As you know there is (on the Tigers in any case) a spacer between the hub and sprocket. DO NOT assume it was put back.
Went to a funeral in KZN last Friday. For 500km on the N3, no sign of any problems and I am meticulous when checking the bike and luggage at fuel stops. Got off at Van’s on the way to Mid Illovo and realised I was running late. Gooing some serious coals on this twisty road, I soon sensed a faint vibration when putting more weight on the left peg but thought it was probably the brand new Karoo 3’s.
As you can see from the pics, if the church was 5km further, I would definitely now be a statistic. 23,000.00 Mandelas SKOOLGELD. Please be aware of this!!!
