So the KTM 690 rallye rider does not have the advantage that the KTM 450 rider has, namely that the stock speedo magnet can be used for the ICO since the 690 does not use a speedo magnet and the speedo sensor instead works by counting the bolts that hold the front brake disc and not a magnet.

The only after-market off-the-shelf fix that I can find for this is the Rally-Raid product (https://www.rally-raidproducts.co.uk/navigation-equipment-rallye/ICO-VR-Trip/ico-sensor-magnet-mount-ktm-690) but the problem is that this makes the stock speedo read 20% too high, which I guess isn't a crisis, but if I can avoid it I want to.

Therefore, this is the option I thinking of trying: drill a hole in the rotor to which the brake disc attaches and glue in an EXC speedo magnet (see https://advrider.cz/technika-lc4-rallye-en.php):

Can anyone maybe say if this is a really bad idea, or if it might work? What have other 690 rallye riders used, any help would be much appreciated!
