Overtightened & Broke my Oil Banjo Bolt [XR650R]

I overtightened the Banjo bolt that goes in the frame, which screws into the nut that has the oil mesh filter / sieve attached, which hides inside the frame.. Anyone else here had the same issue, and/or can help me out with their experience, or am I the only dumbass who's done this?
