a Spur of the moment decision - getting up Saturday morning to see sunshine after all the freezing weather ... :thumleft:
After some negotiations - myself; Skolla & Nige left George at 12:30 Sat after a "brekkie" at the Wimpy just before Outeniqua.... :ricky:
Montagu Pass; a bit of tar to Louvain and then left through the Kammanassie, to take us to Uniondale. After re-fuelling and 10k's of tar, right on the Hartbeesriver gravel towards Baviaans. Not far on the gravel - quick stop to picture my loyal steed reaching another goal of 30 000K's ... :blob9:
We arrived just in time at Uitspan before the cold creeps in with the setting sun ... We were the only guests, but Nico & Christine went out of their way - as per usual to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need!!! We stayed in the 270 degree enclosed and very comfortable caravans, and the fire and refreshments were exceptional ...
