G650gs ping?

wtf is it with BMW and the oem fuel maps loaded onto there bikes? My Sertao pings like a bag of marbles being shaken in topgear with even moderate throttle openings. This happens especially between 5000 and 6000 rpm.Over 6000rpm it's really really bad like literally sounds like there are little marbles bouncing inside the motor. I only use 95 octane fuel. Anybody know if BMW has differant fuel maps for there singles? This is ...... annoying. My old Dakar never did this and I rode her hard. This bike spends 99% of her life below 6000rpm and is ridden very smoothly. Any ideas from the floor?
