Myself and a couple of friends were chatting and the thing we miss most on wild dogs are the newby rides that used to be organised by people like Grunt, Blazes and BigMike to name a few that come to mind. So we were thinking of putting something like that together if there would be any interest?
Route would be mostly good gravel with a little bit of tweespoor perhaps. There would be a backup vehicle and trailer on stand by. We would have 3-4 riders of various levels of experience to guide people and a sweeper that rides behind to make sure everyone is ok.
For a start it would be maybe from PTA east to Cullinan. Perhaps a stop at Rhino depending on how many would like to try it. I was thinking of Saturdays because then we can have a longer day out. If we have one or two successful rides, maybe progress to overnight trips.
