I need some help from all the motorbike fundies out there,
I recently purchased a Honda crf 250x 2007 model. it has stainless steel valves and a fmf exhaust. The bike started first kick cold or hot. It would take a bit longer with the electric start but when a new battery was fitted it STARTED first time. We went for a ride yesterday and the following happened. The bike started first time and rod a while and stopped and would start first time with the electric start. We did a low speed section and then a fast section and stopped to wait for a few riders. The time lapse was say 3 minutes. When we wanted to go the bike would not start with the electric start. The kickstart would also not work as we found that the kickstarter was were hard and would not go down the full stroke. Even pushing the bike to start would not help. the person behind the bike says no smoking was seen and the oil is still clean. We put he battery on charge as it was run down but the morning it was dead. The fuse is still okay but all you here is the click at the cdi. What in your opinion could be the problem. The bike has been running well as previous mentioned.
