Moz - Ponta do Oura
« on: August 25, 2015, 09:43:16 am »
Went with the family and another 3 families to a "lodge" almost right on the beach called Paraiso Do Oura, we were horrified at how dirty, smelly and generally just sif the place was!! The owner(south african) simply laughed our disgust off because of their terms and conditions we had all paid in full prior to arrival! Their facebook page looks idyllic and false advertising at its very best! We ended up going to a place straight across the road called Kaya Kweru for the remainder of the vacation and were given a very reasonable deal by the Portuguese owner who informed us that literally weekly he has unhappy guests coming across to him! >:(

Owner name seems to be Diane van Jaarsveld

Anyway a warning to anyone heading that way!

Ya, and as a GH owner, you know what is expected. I loved your place by the way.

A stones throw for those going to GHT.

eish...talk about good timing....I have to take family to Ponta for a wedding and had been referred to this Paraiso place as an affordable alternative to the White Pearl where the ceremony is......

Thanks for the heads up  :thumleft:

Kaya Kweru OK then? Any other suggestions?

Kaya Kweru was great, the owner Louie was very negotiable and we ended up paying R1000-00 per night for a four sleeper double storey unit per night. :thumleft:
