Just bought a 2014 V1000 for R99.999....couldn't resist at that price. Brilliant motor and great two-up tourer. Good on petrol too.

For R10-20k extra you can get a late model R1200GS.

Better buy IMO.

Not everybody wants the Fortuner of motorbikes  >:D

I also got myself a new 2014 Versys, just could not resist at that price  :ricky:

Ek stem.

:ricky: :lol8:

I went and sat on a 2014 and as good a deal as it is, it is just not for me.
If KTM brought in some 990's like that I would be all over a deal like that; in fact I would buy a couple.

just checked, there are only 8 Versys 650's left in the KMSA warehouse, (sorry, 6 cos I just ordered 2 of them!) at the moment at the R64995 price, the next shipment will be end Sept (for the Versys 1000 as well).  The 650 price will be increasing a little while KMSA are trying to keep the 1000 at R99995.

Current stock of Versys 650 2014 models is sold out, what is on the showroom floor is what there are until the next shipment arrives......and the pricing will be a bit higher, we are expecting it to be around R70k.

I went and tested a Versys on vryday, it is a very nice bike to ride and I think at the price one cant go wrong. Sure it is not a true DP bike but im sure one can even do Sani on it with proper tyres on. I am very tempted. I forgot to ask the salesman, what is the service intervals?

what is the service intervals?

Service book says 12000km or annually, we recommend a lube service/oil change every 6000km.
