Acquiring a permanent licence in CT?

I promised myself last year that this will be the last time I write the learner's test.
Now the time has come to do The full Monty.

I live in Somerset West work in Epping, from what I've heard I understand that there is a great instructor in Bellville.

So you go for couple of classes with this guy, do the test, Bob's you uncle.

Are these classes necessary?
Anybody know this "instructor guy"?
Is it better to use this "guys' poegie for the test?
Is Bellville the place to be at?
