Acerbis tank on a XRL

Ive had the Acerbis long range tank for quite some time on the XRL and its great. The issue is the crappy bracket mounting system that holds the tank up front!! This is a terrible design and I have no doubt there are many others with the same issue? Its now at the point that the brackets that attach to the frame have vibrated and broken clean off...what fixes have the dogs come up with?
