A clever oke like Pauli at GPS4Africa could surely make the 350's mount replace the 660 mount standard on the BMW.

I am sure one could even mount a Tom Tom to the mounting bar. The bennefit of having the integration with the idrive info system is only available with Nav 5
All others the idrive info ring is useless

I took my 660 mount off and fitted my 550 Zumo. I used new cables and not the 660's.
The 660 mount is a lot thinner than the 550 cradle so I build it up to cater for the 550 mount. Works like a bomb!

I pulled the wires out of the pre-fitted bmw cradle and stuck them into my garmin zumo 390lm mount.  hoping they don't come with warranty stories now that I cut into their wiring  ::)  Anyway, worked a charm for me.  didn't have to run any new wires and its straight to CAN BUS so I don't have battery issues.
Regards,

Sheldyn

I took the current cradle off and mounted my Zumo 550 there with its own wiring. Had to make the pipe thicker as the cradle mount does not do thin bars! Looks cool and better mounted there than on the handle bars.

Only problem with changing the gps cradle is that you lose the idrive capabilities, having all that extra info on hand is important to me.  :thumleft:
