Thanks Zanie.

Very nicely done.

Great route, now this might be the perfect ending after our Nam '15 ride...

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all for the great feedback. I might just write some more RRs  ;)

Great ride report Zanie and big respect , thats some hairy riding.   :thumleft: :thumleft:

I will hopefully slowly catch up with ride reports. There's a couple of photos (GoPro snapshots) that I have of you at the Koedoeskloof trip. Still need to upload that trip's photos.

Alhoewel paddle is goeie cardio ;)

Great route, now this might be the perfect ending after our Nam '15 ride...

Thanks for sharing.

Just remember that the gpx route includes a road we couldn't take: Jakkalsfontein 4x4 (the picture of the closed gate). Cross-check with the Google Maps track to see what is possible.

i must say ..... although i hate sand ..... i would prefer sand in those wet conditions in stead of mud  ....  😏😏

The mud was just another horror of the day. I think the only thing that caused the sand to steal the limelight from the mud was the shear volume of it. There were mud patches every now and then, but the sand seemed to stretch on forever.

This is the very best ride report I have EVER seen, well done. My reason is simple it had detail I as an Newbie (no shame) can use. I can note the actual route and use it.
I always find it very difficult to find places to ride and maybe over night and not get stuck without petrol.

I will use this, once again, well done. It was detailed and I am sure lots of dogs will use this info to plan our own routes.

Well done ladies!

Nice photos! I'm looking forward to doing that Wupperthal road on Sunday. Hopefully it's sandy.....
