we ordered 30 on Monday 12/10/'2015, just like we did for last Xmas! probably take 3 weeks to arrive:

we ordered:
10 x LCA tool box for LC GSA with pannier rack (K51)
10 x LC tool box WITHOUT pannier rack (K50)
10 x air/oil cooled tool box for GSA pannier rack

we still have 5 x 800GS tool boxes in stock - please note the 800GS does NOT fit the 800GSA, due to assymetical fuel tank 'bulge'
thanks

Both Touratech and Wunderlich make them.  But with the current exchange rate I think it may be a prohibitive price for many.

The one from Touratech fits both sides (i.e. the same box can be used on both new and older bikes) and it looks slightly smaller that the Wunderlich product.
I started biking as an under achiever and it went downhill from there...

Sure, some pictures attached.

On pricing, we are hoping to repeat last years pricing, (notwithstanding the US Dollar/Euro, etc!), so will aim at around R2100; note that the K50 box - which needs additional brackets since there are no OEM pannier racks present) will likely be more.

Will be in a better position to price them once we know ALL costs, but am aiming at around R2100 per box, at least for 2 of the 3 models we are importing.
Cheers!

Chris,

I looked at your pictures and I can't see how the MotorRadical panniers will fit with the box. The tool box attaches where the MotorRadical panniers latches on to the frame. Are these tool boxes compatible with the MOtorTadical panniers?

Cheers
Rory

I think they ARE compatible - but i do remember Oliver - our previous fitting specialist - making a small adjustment to get it snug, but I hear your concerns, since the BMW boxes latch higher up, IIRC?

Thanks, more info to follow when they arrive, since we will be fitting a good few here in the fitment center, so we will be aware of what - if any- challenges there are!

Cheers

Interesting, news to me, and I am one of Motorradical's biggest stockists countrywide!
Will give them a call, thanks for the heads-up, will confirm once I know.

Hi Zeb,

Is this the Wundelich box?
It is an imported box, no Wunderlich branding, so I suspect not, B-U-T Wunderlich could potentially tthemselves be branding the same (source) box - unsure.
But is is from Germany...

True.  Wunderlich rebrands other items too. (Like that dolly thing on which you can move a bike around in all directions).

I called Bruce - he made 2 some time ago, but has never commercialized them - the two he needs made up to 2 customers need some adjustment, and he want to build a Universal raid box that will fit many bikes, but has not started on this.

Any idea if it will interfere with suspension travel once fitted?
