Where do you stay Xpat? Come try mine, it was 'touched' by Hilton earlier this year when it was with the previous owner. I must say it feels a whole lot better than the demo I rode before.

Thank you very much aka.Goliath for the offer. I stay in Midrand. I'm already taking the forks and shock off to be taken to Hilton hopefully this week. If it doesn't solve it completely I will take you on your offer to check if there still is a room for improvement (which there definitely is as I know from Dwerg's bike).

Check with Hilton if the Cone valve forks are available for the  690 yet...  I think I saw them in the catalogue.

What is that - completely new forks, or some mod that can be done to the stocks?
